Life With Paint USA – Frequently Asked Questions

Life With Paint, it's a great way to spend time with friends and meet new people!

Finally, a fantastic opportunity to get a little artsy on your night out! A host artist will deliver a social painting class to you, your friends, and others. The artist will provide instructions and guidance, helping each student in the group create a 16×20 reproduction painting of the chosen artwork for that class. Come as you are, no experience is required, and all materials and equipment will be provided for you. Food and drinks are welcome, and music is often present!

Do I need to reserve my seat in advance?

Yep! Seating is limited, so we insist that you reserve your seat in advance. Signing up on our website is easy, and you can choose which class best fits your schedule.

Do I get a refund if I can’t make it to a class?

If you can notify us that you will not be able to make it to your scheduled class at least 48 hours in advance of your class, we will rearrange your reservation for a different class that better fits your schedule. A small processing fee is charged for this reschedule. If you experience a sudden change of plans within 48 hours from your scheduled class, we encourage you to send a friend or family member in your place! If you can't send anyone in your place, you can’t make it to the class, and you weren’t able to reschedule for a different class, we will provide you with a discount code for a future class of your choosing.

(There are some exceptions to the above policy. For example, in the event of a personal or family emergency, we may refund your ticket price. Please reach out to us and let us know why you won't be able to attend your class).

What is the ticket price?

When you reserve a class online, the ticket price is just $65 per student. And don't forget, we frequently offer discount codes on various websites and social media platforms, so keep an eye out for those! Gift cards run $65 for one student or $104 for a pair. Gift cards are valid for one year after purchase. Gift cards do not include food or beverages, but such items can be brought with you to the class, or ordered at the class’s predetermined venue (the venues are usually bars, cafes, etc.).

What does the ticket cover?

The ticket covers everything you need to create a painting, including the 16×20 canvas, easel, paints, apron, etc. The ticket price also includes the instruction, as well as the venue. Food or beverages must be purchased separately.

When should I show up for my class?

We encourage our students to arrive 20-30 minutes before their class starts so they can get signed in at the front door and set up at their easel and canvas.

If I can’t make it, can I send someone in my place?

Absolutely! Just tell them to mention your name when they arrive and have them say to our artist-instructors that they are standing in for you.

Can you deliver a class to a large group of people?

We sure can. For parties up to six people, we suggest you purchase all the tickets at the same time. If you have six or more people, we encourage you to sign up for a private event painting class. This way, you and your group will get to experience a more intimate, personalized painting environment. Just you, your friends/family/coworkers, and the instructor. Private event classes are perfect for corporate events, parties, birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, hens nights, etc. Reach out to us directly to book a private event.

What is your policy on cancellation/no-show?

If you can give us 48 hours' notice of a change of plans, we can credit your ticket to a different class of your choosing. Please email us with your schedule change. info@lifewithpaint.us

What type of food and drink is available at the class?

That depends on the venue of the day. Most Life With Paint classes are hosted at bars, cafes, coffee shops, etc. Be sure to check the website of the hosting venue to view their menu options.

Can I pick my own painting to reproduce?

Our artist-instructors will be teaching the class how to create a reproduction painting of the painting selected for that class. Our artists often teach students how to create renditions of famous paintings throughout the ages. However, you don’t have to paint the predetermined painting! You can paint something else if you so choose, and our artists will assist you in doing so.

Can I bring a child to a painting class?

Most of our events are hosted at bars, so we don’t recommend bringing anyone under the age of 18. However, we do offer very kid-friendly family events. Please send us an email at info@lifewithpaint.us to find out when the next family event is set to take place.
